Building (and sharing) a spirituality worth getting excited about 

I believe the true gospel of Jesus from 2000 years ago is that exciting spirituality. No need to invent something new, what we need to do is extract it from the evangelical corruption and return to the roots.

When we return to the roots of who Jesus is, I think we find a dynamic and living spirituality which was meaningful then and meaningful now and for the future, rather than a religion stuck in western colonialism. We need a new orthodoxy.

Mikata 見方 is the “way of seeing”

Shikata 仕方 is the “way of doing” or “method

Is Christianity about acknowledging a certain set of claims as facts or is it about becoming a certain kind of person?

The new orthodoxy is to return to the ancient truth that what defines a follower of Jesus is not acknowledging a certain set of claims but rather becoming a kind of person who behaves like Jesus.

That is what this website is all about.
